Our
Investors
The Council’s programs are truly a collaborative venture
that is made possible by the vision and support of a diverse and
important group of contributors. Our largest investors are the
Texas Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse and the Center for
Substance Abuse Prevention, whose initial and continuing support
has made these programs possible.
Funding
for the Council’s model prevention program – Project
Heart is made possible by the United Way of San Antonio and Bexar
County, the G.A.C. Halff Foundation, and Fiesta Cornyation who
have shown their confidence in the outcomes of Project Heart through
their continued investment.
Project Heart also receives support from the Spurs Foundation,
the Holt Foundation, the McCombs Family Foundation, the USAA Foundation,
WellMed, Inc., the Ruth McLean Bowman Bowers Foundation, the Shield-Ayres
Foundation, the Alice Kleberg Meyer Foundation, the Kronkosky
Foundation, the Goldsbury Foundation, the Arnold and Irene Kocurek
Foundation, the McNutt Foundation, the Koehler Foundation, the
Myra Stafford Pryor Foundation, and Ford Salute to Education,
as well as the medical and corporate communities and generous
people like you who have taken interest in investing in the future
of our children.
Contribute With Confidence
You
can be assured that you contributions are used effectively and
wisely. Only 14% of our income is spent on fundraising and administrative
costs. That means that 86% of every dollar we receive is invested
directly into community programming.
You
can contribute to the Council with confidence because your gift
truly makes a difference to our children, our families, and our
community.
